we will be presenting "Black chicagoland is..." at the dope conference at the university of kentucky. the theme for the conference is "creating from crisis" and it is hosted by the university of kentucky political ecology working group.
our presentation will focus on the geography of the “Black eye” and the “Black ear” and how both (re)shape the ways we visualize and hear Black chicagoness as a method that Black chicagoans use to rename and claim space | place across their city-region.
